- Pricing:
- All pricing includes a single
deboss or a foil stamp. Taxes and shipping charges are extra.
Due to changes in material costs, prices are subject to change
without notice.
- Ordering:
- All purchase orders must be
received in writing.
- When ordering please include
the following information:
- - Your company name, order number,
address, phone and fax numbers
- Item number, description, quantity and price of the product
- Decoration information (debossing/hot stamping/no imprint)
- Camera ready artwork
- Size and location of the logo on the product
- Anticipated shipping date
- Method of shipping, ship to address and account Number.
- Artwork:
- Complete artwork is the most
important part of your order necessary to ensure the accurate,
high quality and quick production of your order.
- For your convenience we will
accept artwork in any form, however, electronic art is the best
method to ensure speedy and accurate production. We are able
to receive the artwork by:
- - E-mail - sales@sterlingpromotions.ca
- emails received without identification will be returned to
sender delaying production.
- The artwork must be in vector
format in high resolution - min 600 DPI, at 100% size, with no
half-tone screens, PC produced, saved as .ai, .eps, .cdr, file,
in approximately 150K in size.
- All fonts must be converted
to outlines (lines and curves). Artwork which requires additional
touch-up, clean-up, typesetting, or re-sizing, will incur extra
charges.
- There is a flat charge of $40.00
for one time change done to the artwork. The turnaround time
to have the artwork redrawn is 24 - 48 hours.
- First paper proof acknowledgement
is free of charge. For the second and subsequent ones there is
a charge of $20.00/each.
- Debossing Die and Set-up
Charges:
- Regular order takes 4-5 working
days to make a die.
A charge of $95.00 for debossing/hot stamping / screen printing
– up to 6 square inches die applies.
For larger size, an additional pro-rated charge applies of $15.00
per square inch.
Dies can be made within 48 hours for rush orders, additional
charges apply.
Additional set-up charge of $35.00 will apply if more than one
type of product will be decorated at the same time using the
same P.O. number.
- No charge first blind imprint
(debossing/ embossing) is included in the price. Second imprint
location, Die charge of $95.00 applies for the next die. Additional
running charges apply as below.

- Non-Decorated Products:
- For non-decorated products,
no minimums apply. For pricing, please use next column price.
- Custom Orders:
- For all custom orders, we require
a 50% deposit from established accounts and 100% deposit from
new accounts upon confirmation of order.
- Minimum Quantity:
- For products ordered below minimum
quantity a surcharge of $25.00 applies.
- Export Friendly:
- Most leather goods, do not require
any quota to send to the US or any other country – however
applicable duties and taxes of appropriate countries apply. Please
call for clarification.

- EMBOSSING:
A process of pressing white areas of the logo into the leather
using a heated die. Black areas will stay above the leather surface.
Embossing imprint will have a rectangle/square or oval shape
depending on the artwork.
- DEBOSSING:
A process of depressing black areas of the logo into the leather
by a heated die so that the logo sits below the leather surface.
- HOT STAMPING:
Using gold or silver foil, hot stamping can be done for products
with a flat and smooth surface only. Coasters, gift boxes, Wirobook
covers.
- PAD PRINTING:
Ideal for small and fine logos. A silicone pad is used to traser
ink onto the product. The pad is flexible enough to imprint various
levels of the product at the same time. Commonly used on brush
tees, pens and travel adapters.
